Why Project X Exists

Project X exists for people who are looking for a serious way to explore whether life and work could be built differently.
Have you...

The Lifestyle Explorer

“There may be another way to live.”

For independent, creative people who want to experience Chinese cities and culture.

The Fresh-Restart Client

“I need a fresh start, but I need a realistic path.”

For people ready for a new chapter with honest guidance.

  • What are the likely costs, risks, and practical requirements?
  • What visa or residence pathway may be available, and what preparation is required?
  • How should I think about housing, healthcare, children’s education, legal compliance, and long-term stability?
  • What backup plan should I have if my job, business, or financial situation changes?

Simon's Journey Through China

New journeys. New destinations. New discoveries — A travel experience unlike any other tours

Dear traveler, I invite you to cross China with me

over mountains and seas, along rivers and lakes, into the extraordinary landscapes

You may walk across stone paths laid a thousand years ago, dance and sing with ethnic minority communities, harvest rice in the fields, pick tea leaves, share a bowl of rice wine, and watch the sunset turn into a sky full of stars.
China has prepared ten thousand years of stories and mysteries for you. Why do ancient flood legends appear here as well? Why were the Terracotta Warriors buried beneath enormous ancient structures? Why does Sichuan, the “Land of Abundance,” carry traces of legends that feel almost otherworldly?
✦ All of this is waiting to be explored. ✦
You may enter a cell-repair center in Shanghai, experience AI-assisted acupuncture in Hangzhou, or visit leading aesthetic clinics in Xi'an.
You may stand before solar farms in the desert, explore China's future aerospace imagination, visit supercomputing centers.
And when you are tired and ready to slow down, I will introduce you to some of China's gentlest cities.

Every journey is shaped by your choices.

Each stop can be supported by professional bilingual guides and memorable local activities. Please accept this invitation from the East. Let us turn legends, futures, and forgotten histories into your own footsteps.

Project “Human, Earth, Universe”

Important — This program can be customized. The final itinerary depends on site access approval, seasonal schedules, weather, transportation availability, and the operating policies of companies, museums, hospitals, and research or industrial facilities.
9-12 days of journey for people who want to see how China is building the future—through technology, infrastructure, nature, and civilization.

The future has arrived. Technology is no longer distant; it has become part of daily life.

In China, technology is a conversation everyone can feel: from AR glasses to artificial intelligence, from powered exoskeletons to lights-out factories.

Humanity has always looked toward the stars. In China, we have harvested sunlight in the desert, built enormous radio telescopes deep in the mountains, and developed supercomputing centers and AI clusters across major cities.

On this journey, you will understand that technology is not a cold model behind glass. You are not merely an observer of the future. You are a participant, a learner, and perhaps one day a creator.

The future is ready to stand before your eyes.

Project “Revival”

This program is customized. Medical, dental, wellness, and aesthetic services must be confirmed through professional consultation.

This journey is designed to help you regain confidence in your health and appearance through efficient, carefully arranged care in China.

Look east to China, and you may discover a modern medical system with strong efficiency, transparent options, and compelling value.

You may have felt frustrated by hospital bills, long waiting lists, or rushed treatment experiences. In China, selected medical and aesthetic services may be available with shorter waiting times and lower costs, while still requiring proper medical evaluation and informed decision-making.

For many clients, this is not only about saving money. Timely access to suitable care can be life-changing.

“You are at the very Chinese stage of your life now!”

It is a guided real-life experience designed for people who want to understand one serious question:
Could I actually live in China?

For a few days, you will not simply look at China from the outside. You will learn how daily life works: how people pay, commute, order food, visit hospitals, explore neighborhoods, travel between cities, and build a practical rhythm in a Chinese city.

This is a life test. It tests your “Chinability”.

You may discover that China feels exciting, efficient, and surprisingly livable. You may also discover that it is not the right fit for you. Either answer is valuable. Enjoy.

Route A — Megacity Life Simulator

    Cities: Shanghai / Chengdu / Shenzhen / Xi’an
Best for: first-time China visitors, professionals, entrepreneurs, relocation explorers, and clients who want to test life in a major Chinese city.
Core question: Can I adapt to the rhythm, convenience, density, and speed of a modern Chinese city?

Day 1 — Arrival & City Survival Setup
Daily Mission: Learn the City Guide
Arrive in the city. Project X staff will meet you at the airport or train station and assist with hotel check-in.

After arrival, we will help you set up essential daily-life tools, including mobile apps, translation support, internet access, emergency contacts, transport tools, and basic city orientation.

In the evening, you will visit a local restaurant and complete your first small mobile payment experience.
Day 2 — Build Your 15-Minute Life Circle
    Daily Mission: Understand Your Neighborhood
In the morning, you will explore the area around your hotel or apartment.

Using local apps, you will locate nearby supermarkets, pharmacies, courier stations, restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience services. You may use ride-hailing apps, shared bikes, or walking routes to visit these places.

Lunch will be arranged independently with app support, helping you experience how residents actually search, choose, and move around the city. The afternoon and evening are open for independent exploration.

By the end of the day, the city should feel less like a map and more like a place you can use.
    Day 3 — Commute Like a Local
Daily Mission: Move Across a Megacity to Work
In the morning, you will take the metro to a nearby CBD or business district, simulating a real commute.

After arriving, you may visit a coffee shop, observe office-area routines, and explore how work life feels in that city. Lunch will be arranged independently.

In the evening, you may experience local nightlife based on your interests: bars, shopping malls, gyms, spas, parks, night markets, or riverside walks.

This day helps you answer: could I handle this city on a normal weekday?
Day 4 — Healthcare, Education & Practical Services
Daily Mission: Test Essential Life Systems
In the morning, you will visit a nearby public, private, or international hospital and learn how registration, consultation, and payment normally work.

After lunch, the afternoon will be customized based on your needs. Options may include:
    • International school visit or education discussion
    • Shared office or business district exploration
    • Wellness or rehabilitation center visit
    • Commercial area and lifestyle services review
    • Housing or neighborhood comparison

In the evening, we will review the city together and answer your questions.
This is where tourism becomes life planning.
Day 5 — Travel Between Cities
Daily Mission: Simulate a Short Business Trip or Weekend Escape
In the morning, you will use an app to purchase a high-speed rail ticket and travel to a nearby city.

This simulates a common Chinese lifestyle pattern: using high-speed rail for short trips, work meetings, family visits, or weekend travel.

The afternoon and evening will focus on local sightseeing and city comparison.
You will experience how connected Chinese cities can feel.
    Day 6 — Return & Reflection
    Return to the original city.

We will review your experience and discuss what felt easy, what felt stressful, what surprised you, and whether this city deserves further exploration.

    Route B — Yunnan Slow-Life Simulator

Cities: Kunming / Dali / Lijiang
Best for: lifestyle explorers, creators, remote workers, wellness clients, slow-living seekers, and people who want a softer introduction to China.
Core question: Could China offer a calmer, more beautiful, more human rhythm of life?

Day 1 — Arrival in Kunming
Arrive in Kunming. Project X staff will meet you at the airport or train station and assist with hotel check-in.

After arrival, we will help you set up essential apps, translation tools, internet access, emergency contacts, transport tools, and basic city orientation.

In the evening, you will visit a local restaurant and complete your first mobile payment experience.
    Day 2 — Explore Kunming
Today is about understanding Kunming as a livable city.

You will use ride-hailing apps, shared bikes, or electric bikes to explore local cafés, supermarkets, parks, Dianchi Lake, residential communities, and relaxed public spaces.

The goal is to feel the city’s everyday rhythm rather than rush through attractions.
Day 3 — Local Market & High-Speed Rail to Dali
In the morning, visit a local farmers’ market and observe how residents shop, eat, and interact.

After lunch, travel to Dali by high-speed rail using a local app.

In the afternoon or evening, check into a guesthouse near Erhai Lake and begin exploring the surrounding area independently.
Day 4 — Dali Ancient Town & Erhai Life
    Explore Dali by electric bike.

You may visit the ancient town, local restaurants, cafés, lifestyle shops, residential areas, and nearby daily-life facilities.

You will also ride or walk along the Erhai ecological corridor and experience the lake, mountains, villages, and slow rhythm of Dali.

In the evening, experience Dali’s nightlife: bars, tea houses, live music, courtyards, and the night sky.
Day 5 — Bai Culture & Personal Interests
Experience Bai ethnic culture and visit local cultural workshops.

Depending on your interests, this day can include crafts, tea, music, photography, writing, wellness, food, or creative activities.

This is a day to ask:
What would I do here if I stayed longer?
Day 6 — A Day of Your Own / Travel to Lijiang
    This is your self-directed day.

You may work remotely, rest, continue exploring, create content, visit a café, or simply do nothing.

In the afternoon, travel to Lijiang and check into your hotel.
Day 7 — Lijiang Daily Life & Naxi Culture
Observe the difference between local life and tourist life.

Explore Lijiang Old Town, local neighborhoods, shops, food streets, quiet corners, and Naxi cultural spaces.

This day is designed to help you look beyond the postcard image and understand how a place actually feels.
Day 8 — Nature, Hiking & Final Reflection
Option 1: Light hiking, parks, and nearby scenic areas.
Option 2: Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, depending on weather, access, and client preference.

In the evening, we will review the full journey across Kunming, Dali, and Lijiang.

We will discuss which city felt most livable, what lifestyle may suit you, and whether a longer trial stay makes sense.

Challenge Route — The Real-Life Simulation

Important — this route is not for everyone. It is designed as a serious, controlled life challenge for clients who want to test resilience, independence, creativity, and practical survival skills in China.

    Scenario
You are a recent Chinese university graduate. You have just arrived in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Beijing, or Guangzhou to look for work. You overspent the money your family gave you last month, so this month they will not support you. Fortunately, you still have RMB 1,000 in savings. That is your starting point. Survive the concrete jungles.

    Main Goals

    • Survive for 10 days.
    • Use your own skills to legally get RMB 500.
    • Deposit the money into a Chinese bank account.

    Optional Goal
Receive one job offer from a Chinese company.

    Prohibited Actions

    • No outside financial support.
    • No illegal activity.
    • No leaving the selected city.
    • No homelessness or begging.

    Why This Challenge Exists?
Because it is designed to be real. It is a structured reality test. It helps clients understand the pressure, resourcefulness, and practical systems behind ordinary urban life in China. For some people, this route may become one of the most memorable and honest experiences of the entire journey.

Primary outcome: A gentle, practical plan for seasonal stays, healthcare access, slow living, and safety support.

What Project X can support: Seasonal city selection, health/wellness coordination (checkups, dental), comfort-focused arrival, slow travel integration, repeat-stay planning.

Medical and wellness boundary: coordinates arrangements but does not provide medical diagnosis.
